Summer in Furzedown Rec is back – and this year’s celebration promises to be bigger, better, and even more fun for the whole community.

Delivered in partnership with Furzedown Community Network, this free event is packed with music, food, games and activities for all ages, all day long.

Riverside Radio will be broadcasting live from the event and hosting the main stage, with a fantastic line-up of local acts and performances.

From street food to activities, live music to drumming, inflatables to local independent market stalls – there’s something for everyone at this joyful neighbourhood celebration.

    • Storytelling - with Hannah Need - 1pm, 3.15pm and 5.30pm

    • Tombola & raffle – Main arena (prizes drawn at 17:00 on the Main Stage)

  • Over 30 independent stallholders will be offering arts, crafts, homeware, plants, jewellery, books, and more across two areas:

    Furzedown Youth Centre, St Alban’s Church, Don’s Local action Group, Aboyne Community Garden, Bloomers Plants and Crafts, Streatham Osteopaths, Drumming workshops, Circus activities and more. 

  • From Indian street food from LuckNow2London, Caribbean creations from Comfort Flavours Kitchen, CulynArt with Spanish delights to Grate & Grill with Artisan cheese toasties, a range of delicious sweet treats from cakes to waffles and churros and a tea and cake tent supporting the local foodbank.

  • Riverside Radio will once again be bringing the buzz, broadcasting live throughout the day and hosting the main stage.
